PRIVACY
1. Local-First Data Storage. odostrada is designed to keep your mileage ledger on your device. Odometer readings, segment classifications, location tags, odometer images, legal-consent records, and related settings are stored locally on the device unless and until you choose to export or share them.
2. Location Data. odostrada requests location access only when you create an anchor and only to tag that anchor. odostrada does not use background location tracking to monitor your movement over time. If you deny location permission, the app can still log mileage, but anchors may be saved without GPS metadata.
3. Camera and Images. odostrada may request camera access to capture odometer images and run on-device OCR. If camera access is denied, the app can still be used by manually entering odometer readings. Odometer images are stored locally and may be included in exports or backups you choose to create.
4. No Central User Account. odostrada does not require you to create an account with us. However, if you purchase Business Pro, subscription and entitlement status may be processed by our billing and subscription provider, RevenueCat, and the applicable app marketplace such as Google Play.
5. Third-Party Services. odostrada uses third-party platform services where necessary to support subscriptions, payments, reminders, link handling, and map launching. For Business Pro entitlement handling, RevenueCat may process purchase and subscription metadata in accordance with its own privacy practices.
6. User-Initiated Sharing and Export. odostrada does not automatically upload your trip history to our servers. If you export CSV files, odometer photo archives, or full backups, and then share them through email, cloud storage, messaging apps, AirDrop, or similar services, those files may leave your device and become subject to the privacy practices of those services.
7. Data Retention and Deletion. Because odostrada is local-first, you control retention. Data generally remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, clear app storage, or overwrite it through restore or import actions.
8. Legal Consent Records. odostrada may record the time, source URL, and version of your acceptance of legal terms on your device. These records may also be included in user-created backups.
9. Changes to This Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When required by the app, you may be asked to review and accept updated legal terms before continuing to use certain features.
LEGAL
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using odostrada, you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app. odostrada may require renewed acceptance when legal terms are updated.
2. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use odostrada for your personal or internal business mileage tracking needs.
3. Product Scope and Tiers
Standard: Standard access supports one editable business and one active vehicle, along with CSV export and odometer photo export.
Business Pro: Business Pro may include support for up to three businesses, up to three vehicles, full backup and restore with odometer images, reminders, and other subscription-gated features as made available in the app.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
Paid subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, billing, and refunds are handled by the applicable app marketplace and related billing providers. Subscription entitlement handling may also rely on RevenueCat. We do not directly process your payment card information.
5. User Responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all mileage records, classifications, odometer entries, exported reports, and backup files. odostrada is a record-keeping tool and does not replace your obligation to maintain accurate records.
6. OCR and Accuracy Disclaimer
OCR is provided as a convenience only and may produce inaccurate results. You must verify odometer readings before saving or relying on them. We are not responsible for losses, penalties, or filing errors arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or unreviewed entries.
7. No Legal, Tax, or Accounting Advice
odostrada and its operator do not provide legal, tax, accounting, or audit advice. Any summaries, calculations, mileage estimates, deduction estimates, or classifications generated by the app are informational only. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
8. Local Data and Backup Risk
odostrada is primarily a local-first app. You are responsible for maintaining your own backup practices. We are not liable for data loss resulting from device loss, device theft, hardware failure, software corruption, accidental deletion, failed migrations, or user-managed exports shared through third-party services.
9. Permissions and Feature Availability
Certain features require device permissions, including camera and location access. If you deny those permissions, some features may be limited or unavailable. For example, camera denial may disable OCR-based capture while still permitting manual odometer entry, and location denial may prevent GPS tagging of anchors.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, odostrada and its operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or tax position arising from or related to the use of the app.
11. Changes and Termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, pricing, or availability at any time. We may also update this Agreement from time to time. Your continued use of odostrada after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by law.
